Another person that I would personally like to see nailed to a wall would be Elvis... he was considered a liberal in his time but all he was doing was stealing music from black people and marketing it as his own...What figure from the liberal arts would be nailed to the wall today by the pc liberals?

Do u remember an art project w/ yarn, spool w/nails &nitting or crochet needle?

you would wrap the yarn around the nails and the second time around u would lift the bottom yarn layer over the 2nd layer w/the crochet/knitting needle then pull thru the hoe in the spoolDo u remember an art project w/ yarn, spool w/nails %26amp;nitting or crochet needle?
yes I remember

the size of the item made depends on the number and size of the spool..You can also use a piece of wood with nails stuck in sideways and ';crochet'; a long flat piece that can be a hairband or long winter muffler..Do u remember an art project w/ yarn, spool w/nails %26amp;nitting or crochet needle?
nails with small or tiny heads so you can slip the yarn over the new loop

angle of nails depends ..if you want a long scarf then put the nails on the edge of the board so that as the iten gets longer it will simply fall down the side and not be in the way when you are adding more loops.

some people call it spool knitting or loom knitting. You can get plastic hoops in all different sizes for making scarves, hats, shawls, etc. at hobby stores and even Wal-Mart. It's called a Knifty Knitter by the Provo-craft Company
Yes I remember that very well. We used to call it Chinese knitting and I made many a long snake into a rug or a potholder when I was a kid...lol
In the UK, it's called French knitting. I can remember vividly doing it sitting in a hospital %26amp;E waiting room for hours.

Choosing the right career; Nail Technician or Culinary Arts?

I'm graduating this year, and I have been thinking a lot about which career I want to go into, and I've narrowed it down to two, which is becoming a Nail Technician or going into the culinary arts. I simply just want a job that involves art, considering art is my passion and both of these jobs include that. I am always doing everyone's nails including mine plus buying tons of nail polish/tools and basically practicing all the time but then I am always cooking for everyone and everyone telling me I'm good at it, made tons of recipes and when I get bored I catch myself looking up new recipes to make without even knowing it, I really don't know which one to choose, if someone can narrow down the goods and bads for each one, I think that would help me a lot. Thanks.Choosing the right career; Nail Technician or Culinary Arts?
To be honest, you could both. Be a nail technician first because it doesn't cost that much money %26amp; you can get it done in the quickest possible time. If you learn to do acrylic, airbrush, etc... you could EASILY make $4,000-$5,000 a month (excluding tips).

Culinary is great, but the costs are outrageous ! I know cuz I went to a culinary school. There's tuition, books, uniform, knives set, and not to mention food ingredients you'll have to buy to practice at home. It's really fun to learn to cook, but it's costly, time consuming, and once you get out, there's no guarantee that how much you'll make. Some get lucky, some not. My cousin is a great chef, and he makes $25/hr at the Playboy Mansion West. But like I said, some get lucky.Choosing the right career; Nail Technician or Culinary Arts?
I think it depends on how far in your career you want to go. If you like cooking and make recipes, I would suggest Culinary Arts so you can become a great chef someday. With nail technician there's not much you can do.
In this economy, and for the foreseeable future, neither one sounds very good for an outlook. If there's not any other choices, go with the one that you like the best

  • Would you get nailed for art?

Someone has pointed out a Private Eye piece on an actress who took the lead in a sexually explicit film, sacrificing herself so that the audience could find out a little more about their own moral identities. We don't often reveal just how much of ourselves we give, but there's a little glimpse.Would you get nailed for art?
Huh?Would you get nailed for art?
    What they said...
Don't worry darling, it was only a little glimpse.
I think you are reffering to maddonna I thionk it is weird and an act of a sad sick perosn who needs help these days people woukd go to extremes to get attention these poor people need help never mind giving thmeselves to art.
What moral identities, practically the whole world is corrupt these days, also if they are watching they are sick anyway.
which actress I wana see! lol
if I get to do it with a hot chick...hell yes!!
There are other ways to get the audience to question their moral identities. Self 'sacrifice' is not necessary.

using stripers are, for me, the quickest and easiest way to get a design, especially if i'm in a hurry. also, toothpicks (the blunt side) are handy for dots. any kind of glitter topcoat also makes your nails flashy and noticeable with little work involved.

i would suggest maybe just an easy manicure

dont use too much nail polish remover

only use it b4 putting nail polish on to get rid of w.e oils on your nails.

also if you do dishes wear gloves, water shrinks your nails ..

make sure you trim them so the ends dont split

I'd like to hang up art that is not framed on my wall. Without tacks or nails. I need ideas!?

Opening up a monthly artist gallery in my home. Works are unframed, mostly works on paper, photographs, some paintings. But I don't know how to affix to the wall without damaging the wall or the artwork. Anyone out there know about wall/paper friendly double sided tape?I'd like to hang up art that is not framed on my wall. Without tacks or nails. I need ideas!?
Scotch makes clear mounting squares that are fantastic for hanging photos and any works done on paper. It even works on some light weight panels. They are removable and won't take off paint or rip your work.I'd like to hang up art that is not framed on my wall. Without tacks or nails. I need ideas!?
3M manufactures an adhesive with little nonadhesive tabs on it. When you're done you just pull the tab and it stretches the sticky part until it pops off. I have used them before and they are probably your best bet. Don't leave much/any residue and if there is any on the wall soap and water should do the trick. you should be able to find them at most hardware stores and probably at walmat, etc. too.
There is a type of paint that is magnetic. Most people have never heard of it, but it would make for an interesting gallery. You don't want to display your art against wallpaper. Paint some new ';wallpaper';. Most art will pop out more against a solid background.
3m makes a great double sided mounting tape

The art and science of beautifying and improving the skin, nails, and hair is called?

    the answer choice is

    A. esthetics

    B. cosmetology

    C. barbering

    D. nail technologyThe art and science of beautifying and improving the skin, nails, and hair is called?
Beautymatolographology. ';B'; is second choice. Thanks you.The art and science of beautifying and improving the skin, nails, and hair is called?
Esthetics is a variant of aesthetics, which is a branch of philosophy dealing with beauty and the beautiful.

So I dont think its that...

Nail technology is just what it says--nothing to do with hair and skin.

Barbering sounds like something to do with hair, but not nails.

    So B is your answer.
    Cosmetology.

    Barbering is cutting hair(And chemicals.)

Nails are just nails. and Esthetics are just skin. Cosmetology is hair skin and nails.
    B. Cosmetology (kos me TOL o jee)

How do I display original art on a wall in a public place without pounding a bunch of nails in the walls.?

I am going to be responsible for hanging original works of art in a healing/meditation center. The only thing on these walls will be the artwork by local artists and I'm trying to figure out how to hang the art without pounding nails into a wall. Since the placement and work will change over time, I don't want the wall to end up looking like a woodpecker ran into it...any ideas as to how I can protect the walls? How do I display original art on a wall in a public place without pounding a bunch of nails in the walls.?
These seem to be the best. Imitations don't work as well: http://cableorganizer.com/hooks/?engine=鈥?/a>

These come highly recommended, but I have not used them: http://www.ooks.com/merchadise.cfmHow do I display original art on a wall in a public place without pounding a bunch of nails in the walls.?
Use easels where you can to be different.
    Use duct tape.
Well, if these works of art are paintings of any substance, you will need to use nails to hang them. Just have a small can of paint the same color as the wall, spackle the holes as needed, sand it smooth, and give it a stroke of paint to cover the white spackle.

But if the work doesn't vary too greatly in size, you will find that most of the works will hide the previous holes.
There is a device which hangs from the ceiling. It is looks as if the works are hanging on a string. It is called a rail system. It looks really nice and is perfect to use when te art work is going to change and protects the walls as well.

Duct tape or velcro will not work!
You can get little double-sided adhesive disks (something like MacTac) that will solve your problem.

How great that you are so conscientious! Too many people don't think about what they will leave behind....
If there is a director or overseer available, why not ask them for advice?
    velcro or duct tape.
just put it on the Cheri or on the flour
You can get some no damage sticky tack hooks from stores.

    Hi,

I am allowed to use screws and nails on my room's walls but for some frames and wooden letters i have i use this very very strong two sided spongey tape thing and it sticks right onto the wall and never falls! And I can move them around anytime without leaving a mess on the wall!
If you are prepared to fill the holes when you move, you may want to risk using small nail hangers for your art. I have yet to see an apartment that didnt have things hung on the wall, or a rental agreement that allowed it.

I need an visual (preferrably video) tutorials of nail art...?

Are there any good websites with tutorials on how to do simple nail art on your own nails? Not acrylic but on your actual nail with polish. I am pretty good at doing french tips on my own nails, and I want to expand into simple nail art. I got the Konad rubber stamping but the imprint is usually too thin and I would like to try and paint my own simple art.

I'm also interested in the kind of nail art that is possible for natural nails. I heard there is a kind of paint you mix with water? Right now I have a few StripeRite SoEasy polish with the long pointy brush and I'm trying to use those a bit, but I'm not having much luck with the brush and making shapes... so I would really like some tutorials with easy stuff I can do at home... • Airbrush kit for nail art - what else do i need?

bought this item from ebay today, i basically want to be able to do nails myself starting off with being able to do the basic pink with airbrushed white tips, but considering the items i bought in this small pack will i need any other tools to get started? isn't there some sort of pump needed? i'm not exactly up to speed with the different tools needed, i was referred to this item by a friend as a starter. can anyone help?

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?V鈥?/a>Airbrush kit for nail art - what else do i need?
You need either cans of compressed air or a compresser. If you use cans dont expect a proffesional finish as they tend to cause blobs and runs xx

Would you D-I-Y nail art? Or pop into the beauty salon?

Would you spend a huge some of money going to a nail parlour to get your nails done?

    OR

    Would you rather D-I-Y ?

The reason I am asking is because, I am ardent fan of the nail art. However I am pretty hesitant in parting with my money to get my nails pretty, knowing that i can do it on my own using the right tools. And also, the satisfaction of getting the nails done on your own is just GREAT...

What do you think? If it favours D-I-Y , I might think of setting up a blog on it, considering that there are only few ones out there.Would you D-I-Y nail art? Or pop into the beauty salon?

What kind of nail art do most salons do?

If I were to walk into a Nails Now! or a Beautiful Nail (just normal everyday nail salons) do most do nail art?

Basically what I want is just a full set/pink and white with some pretty designs. I like the look of the everyday short nail, so I don't think I really want them long and airbrushed.

What would I ask for? And what kinds of places do that kind of thing? I live in North Dallas if anyone's familiar with the area. What kind of nail art do most salons do?
just ask for a full set and tell them the colors you want and what desighn art u want on it. U can go to a salon, mall,or the nail shop.

How does this nail art look?

Last night I posted a pic of a nail art I tried to do. I just did this last night for the first time so it's not great. I did another one to match an outfit. I would judt like some feedback on how it looks and if you have any ideas to make it look better.

I like the first one, cute colors. :)

But really, trim down your nails! Personally, I think its gross when someone has really long nails, no matter how good their nail polish is.
Wow how did you do that on your own? Looks professional! I like the pink one best but the green does match well!
    I love the pink!!

    Very cute!

    Help with photographing nail art?

I'm trying to take close up pictures of nail art that I've done, but I just can not get my camera to focus. It's just your everyday digital camera, nothing fancy. It doesn't have any kind of manual focus feature, it's one of those where you press the shutter button halfway down and it auto-focuses (can't shut this off). I've tried taking them up close and far away with zoom. The lighting in the room is pretty bright. Am I doing something wrong, or will I just have to invest in a better camera?Help with photographing nail art?
You're going to have to turn on ';Macro'; mode. It's usually a little flower icon.Help with photographing nail art?
One things point and shoot cameras are very good for is macro shots and, as stated above, set your camera on the little flower image. The flash, however, is not going to be of value that close to the subject. Step outside to some open shade, set your camera for cloudy or auto white balance and take the pictures using the diffused lighting in that shade.
This is your portfolio, showing what you can do. Mediocre shots won't do your artwork justice and may even put people off.

Invest in a decent camera preferably a DSLR with Macro lens, trouble is you will have to learn how to use it. This is not time wasted its a good life skill to have anyway.

    Chris
you need to set your camera to MACRO mode. This allows you focus on your subject from inches away.
You're going to need a much better camera. You'll need an SLR for manual focus, and a macro lense would do you good.

  • Migi Nail Art? Is is a rip off? Is it worth the money for the whole pack?

i am very interested in nails at the moment. my friend ordered something on the internet called Migi Nail Art. i went on the website and saw that the WHOLE nail kit was $99. My mom thanks it is not worth all that money for nails. she also thinks it is a rip off. is it worth it?? is it a rip off?? Also can you purchase it in a store for at least $100. what store??

first one to give me a decent answer get 10 points!!Migi Nail Art? Is is a rip off? Is it worth the money for the whole pack?
Ha. I love painting my nails too, or having my mom do it. I always get compliments and stuff.

My comment on ';Migi Nail Art';:

I think its a rip off. I've never used it, but you can do about the same thing with household items. Use the tip of a sharp pencil or a toothpick. Dip it in the paint (put some paint on a bag or paper plate) and design. I'm not sure if it will look as professional as this ';Migi Nail Art';, but my mom does mine that way and everyone loves them! They are totally fierce. You can use skinny paintbrushes too, for not so detailed things like hearts and such.

~hope that helps and good luck! i hope your nails look great!Migi Nail Art? Is is a rip off? Is it worth the money for the whole pack?
I checked out the website an it is $99 for ALL % sets of the Art Pens.

That means 40 different colors. We can purchase ANY set for only $25 (8 colors). I have used this kit and it is amazing...FRee Refills, forever!

It is a rip off. I tried it and it chipped right off. It's not worth it and I got all my money back for it.
no,the stuff wreaked my nails,it's not worth it
well by the first part of your question i understand why your mom said what she said. if you're interested in nails ';at the moment'; then no i wouldnt purchase it either because you may not be interested after you have ordered it..nails arent something you just give up its in your blood.... so if i were you i would order a couple of colors here and there but i wouldnt invest in a large kit....i looks as if its a good investment and i'm actually thinking about it myself since i'm in the nail industry.... and for the person who said that it chipped its probably because you didnt use a top coat or you used a cheap top coat.hth

    Konad nail art stampers?

Hello I hope anyone can help me.

I brough the Konad nail art stamper maybe 6 months ago. I did what follow the direction. First, I need to put a base coat, which I did. Second, use the special nail polish to stamper the design. Last use a top coat over the design to make is last longer. But when I put the top coat the design will smears and it look ugly. I tried so many times its still the same. I want to know what can I do so the design won't smear when I put the top coat on???? Please help me ..... Thanks%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;Konad nail art stampers?
I have the same thing...aint it great!!

Your supposed to just dab it on but when i do that it just smudges. I don't use a top coat. I went to a concert 2 weeks ago with the designs on my nails and i didn't use a topcoat, and the designs are still there. even though the nail polish itself is chipping away. Just try no top coat for once. they wont fade or anything.

hope this helped..Konad nail art stampers?
I have that and the same thing happens. Just go without the top coat.

Migi Nail Art pens - have you tried these? If so, what is your opinion?

I got (2) Migi Nail Art colors (technically ';one'; pen) free for signing up and ';friending'; the distributor on YouTube. Great deal and while these seem to work well as far as application is concerned, I haven't had much luck with the polish drying. It seems to dry very slowly - much slower than regular nail polish.

Has anyone experienced this? I've used regular nail polish for nail art - Stripe Rite %26amp; some run of the mill stuff as well - with really good results. The Migi seems to not dry well at all.

My first thought was that the lines were too thick, but it seems impossible to do the lines thinner. Am I squeezing the tube too much? Or does it just dry really slowly?

People rave about Migi, but from what I've experienced, I am glad these were free. If it makes any difference, I've got the Hot Pink %26amp; Kelly (almost a flourescent) Green colors. I've read that the ';Basic Kit'; with standard colors ';works the best';. Maybe I should have gotten Black %26amp; White, but those colors seemed boring and I wanted to do fun nail art!

Thanks in advance.Migi Nail Art pens - have you tried these? If so, what is your opinion?
yeah, I've used the black and white ones before. They are ok. Don't touch for a while though, seems like they take a little long to dry for me.

The lines are thick, I never could get anything really thin to come out.

    Nail Art Questions!?

I want to start doing my own Nail Art (like the Japanese Nail Art).

What do I need to buy specifically?

I want to do 3D, Acrylic, and art on my own nails.

I also want to do false nails (whatever they're called?) with jewelry/dangles. I know I need a drill for that, right?

    And much more.

If you know the specifics as to what I need to start off, let me know!

Also, I need a list of websites that ship to the United States. I hope it's not too pricey either.

Thank you for reading!Nail Art Questions!?
Whoa. Slow down a bit, LOL!!! Each of the things that you mentioned is an art in themselves. None of them are learned overnight, not by any means. Sure, you can go out and buy the stuff that you need but you are going to have to know what to do with it once you have it. Personally, I don't advise anyone to do their own acrylic nails without first having been properly, and thoroughly trained. This means attending a school of nails and becoming licensed in your home state. With acrylics, you are working with chemicals, and there is a lot of things that could go wrong if you aren't careful with the products. And the use of a drill (e-file is the proper term actually, but many still call it a drill - whatever. I know what you mean!) requires taking a class in order to use one properly without severely damaging your nails. Even then, it takes a LOT of practice to master their use. You could go out and buy some cheapie model, such as a Dremel. But Dremels were not designed for use on nails. They are designed for woodworking, and other hobbies. A good e-file will cost upwards of $500. I have two, and both were over $400. I use one for gels, and the other for acrylics. I say you need training to use this sort of tool because there are many things which are important to know, such as which bit is the proper bit to use for a specific purpose. Also, proper filing techniques play a major role in the use of an e-file. It's pretty involved, actually. Inexpensive e-files are available, and are good for people who are not using them on a daily basis. But, even these start at about $175 for a decent model. I would not recommend going to Sally's or somewhere like that and buying one of their models. I know of no nails techs who have done this and been happy with their purchase. Its best to invest in a decent model right from the start. Here is a site that you can look at for models of e-files in a wide variety of price ranges. This company is one of the top two manufacturers of e-files in the world. These are some very good quality e-files, and other products/tools are also available on this site:

    http://www.kupainc.com/

E-files are not necessary though. You can learn how to hand file, and get great results. Best to know how to hand file anyway because it will still be necessary to do even if you use an e-file. E-files are to save time with. They don't do the entire job for you. Hand filing is still needed no matter what. So, if you want to save money, skip the e-file completely, and just hand file!!!

And as for buying products such as acrylics, and gels, without being licensed, you will find it somewhat difficult to be able to purchase high quality professional products. Most - if not all major nail product companies require a license before they will sell to you (you need to provide proof of being licensed). But, I'll let you in on a little secret- many of the online sites do not require licenses, and will sell you decent quality products. Here are a couple of those that don't require a license (there are more sites like these, but this is a good starting point):

    http://www.nailiteinc.com

    http://www.premiernailsource.com

Nail art. Hmmm, that is a different topic. You can do that without any training. Of course, it always helps to have someone who is highly skilled to learn from, BUT if you have natural artistic ability, you can easily learn this on your own. It will take LOTS of practice, but it can be done. You can buy the necessary products for this at most craft supply stores. Michael's is a good place to look. So is Jo-Ann Fabrics, and A.C. Moore. You can look online for supplies too. There are many supply stores online. You can also find many sites that sell things such as instructional DVD's, and online courses are also available. If you were to go this route, I would advise to shop around for the best deal as there are a lot of good offers out there, but there are some which are not so great. Its buyer beware. Just shop carefully, and do some research before you buy from any of the sites. I don't think that any DVD's or other coursework for nail art is going to be inexpensive, at least not anything that is good quality. But, I could be wrong, and you might stumble upon a site with a really good deal. I haven't found any to date, but that doesn't mean that they don't exist. As for 3D nail art, it's helpful to have a solid background in the proper use of acrylics before attempting to do this kind of thing. Well, at least that is what I believe to be true. It helps to know how the products work, and have a good feel for them prior to trying any 3D work. Starting on 3D art without any knowledge of how the products work is like trying to make your own clothing before you have even learned how to sew - or something like that anyway, LOL! Oh, I almost forgot - try youtube. There are a lot of free videos there which can help you. Some are good, others are trash. But hey, it's free!

But, do not let anything I have said discourage you from doing these things. All I am trying to do is emphasize the fact that good, solid training is important, in my opinion. No, it is NOT necessary that you have it, but I feel that you would benefit greatly from training programs. Of course, it still is possible to do these things without any training. Just be careful with the products, and try to learn as much as you can about them on your own. There are really a lot of sites from which you can get valuable information. But, beware. Because it is the internet that we are talking about, like anything else on the web, there are good sites, and there are bogus sites that aren't worth anything. Just look around. You'll find something good, I'm sure!!!

I hope this helps! And good luck to you!!! You'll have a lot of fun with this.

I love nail art! I used to get my toes done every two weeks when stationed in Japan. They were great at it!!! You can get magazines full of it! The entire pedicure would take an hour and a half to two hours. It's not time consuming at all.
being completely honest, all of those designs look like theyre for 10 year old girls, but 10 year old girls shouldnt have fake nails anyways.
In my opinion those are bad examples of nail art, since they do look trashy and tacky.
if I got my nails done like that I don't think that I could keep from biting them, they look too much like playdough, and for some reason whenever I smell or see playdough I want to eat it (weird I know)
personally, i think they're a bit too girly but maybe ur into that kind of stuff the 4th one is probs the best....
I think that it's cute, but I personally don't like the examples you had.
That last one is pretty extreme.
    ewwwwwwwwwwwww no!
    the last one for sure
    i don't really like them.

    Nail art and fingernail piercing?

i've finally stopped biting my nails for the first time in my whole life! now that i've stopped and let my nails grow longer, i was wondering if anyone could help me find some nail art websites that teach you how to do them or fingernail piercing? i'm porbably not going to try it but it sounds cool, and i've seen it in a lot of manga books where girls pierce the tips of their nails and have cute charms hanging.

    thanks!Nail art and fingernail piercing?
A lot of those j-rock/visual kei inspired nails are actually press-ons. If you want to experiment, I suggest picking up a set of nails at Wal-mart and trying out different paint jobs, gluing on small items, and poking holes in the press-ons. This way you can change your look to match your outfits without actually having to damage your own nails with pounds of paint, rhinestones, and charms.

Also fake nails are a thousand times easier to decorate since you paint them BEFORE they are stuck on your fingers. No more of your right hand nails looking shabbier than the left.

Check out photos of visual kei bands for some inpiration. If you take a peek at the magazine Cure, there are usually ads for suppliers of nails so you can get an even better look.Nail art and fingernail piercing?
Don't pierce your fingernails. Unless you are going in a time warp to 1992, don't do it.

Just get a short-nail manicure in a bright spring color or if you really want a design then get a french manicure, airbrushing is a bit tacky imo.
Any way you could post a pic? I'd like to see what this looks like. Sounds awesome!!
dont pierce the nails it doesnt look good

so i bought some fake nails since mine arent long enough to draw on...

i know you're supposed to put the nails on before you paint them.. but if i'm going to be drawing tiny details (nail art) on them how would i do that with my non-dominant hand?

but even if i do the nail art (and let it dry) before i put them on won't it still smudge and be yucky and such since you literally have to press them on??

if you paint them first and you dont use a thick layer of nail varnish but it's quite thin then when it dries it wont smudgeNail art advice/opinion?
Ask someone around to paint/design your non-dominant hand.

Tell them specifically what design you want and how it should look.
no it will be fine. Just make sure they are dry and your hands are dry. It wont mess them up if the nails are complely dry.

For those who use nail art (pens) or do nail art.?

There's an ad in February Issue of Glamor Magazine (Page 104) Sally Hansen Nail Art pens. I love the designs they show in the ad. I ws just curious to know how many woman (and men?) use nail art designs for their fingers and toes?

Some of the designs are gorgeous such as:

    1) Checkerboard using red, blue and pink

    2)Solid black with a silver french tip and a white triangle and on the same hand black with three red hearts;

    3) Baby blue with white French tips and red ovals;

    4) Solid red with white French tips and lovely cute snowflakes;

    5) solid gold with black ';leopard designs';;

    6) Silver with red scrolls and French red tips. Gorgeous.

Myself I was thinking of a solid dark blue with the Breast Cancer Ribbon Logo to support the Avon and Susan Komen Walks for Breast Cancer this year. How many of you would approach a man who has painted blue toenails with a pink Breast Cancer Ribbon if you were at one of these events and ask him why he did this? Or would you just ignore him and walk by and assume he might be gay or trans gender, even though there nothing wrong with that?

http://www.highsnobette.com/posts/archiv鈥?/a>For those who use nail art (pens) or do nail art.?
    Sure paint your toenails.

    Thats really funny.

    Just not your fingernails.

If I saw a man with that design on his toenails, I'd think,

    ';Gay? Metrosexual? Probably gay. But I love his toenails.';

You should first go to beauty school and get your license. After that you should take a variety of short courses that you are interested in that would supplement your license and help you with make up and nail art. This way you are certified and you will have extra training and know how to do a variety of things.Nail art make up art ?? CONFUSSED.COM?
if its jst the nail art you want to do, id go ahead and do it. its a big thing at the mo. iv`e just got my qual for nail art and it was worth it.
if you are only looking at the actual nail art rather than extensions and manicures etc then a short course is fine!

its the same with make up if you only want to do make-up then a short course is fine.

when you start wanting to do manicures and facials etc thats when you need to start looking at a longer course.

nail art is so simple to learn yourself all you need is a good imagination and a few tools try looking at the website below for idea on different tools. they also sell a DIY kit where you can learn it at home with a dvd/cd rom but i think they are quite expensive.if you are looking to do it for a job you will need to be quilified however and get a certificate to say you can do it which means a college course. you then need liability insurance which is about 拢40 a year.

    Problem with Nail art !?

I love nail art but the problem is when I finish my nail art, I have to apply another top coat to seal it so that it won't come off. When I apply top coat, the colors become darker and it looks terrible !! I usually use light colors for my nail art. What should I do?Problem with Nail art !?
Sephora by OPI has a product, quick drying nail polish drops. They use a eye dropper applicator and there's no brush strokes just 1-2 drops on each nail and it seals all the polish coats dry to the touch in 1 minute and completely dry in 5 minutes.

Plus Sephora Cosmetic Stores have testers that you can use on the particular color polishes for your nail art before you purchase the product. In fact they have testers for every cosmetic and nail color in their stores that include nail cotton pads and nail polish remover. Just look for the Sephora by OPI Nail Polish display.Problem with Nail art !?
buy a new top coat or colors because top coats never do that to me so i bet if you get a new really good one that problem will go away. i love Sally Hansen double duty, its a base and top coat! its great. GOOD LUCK ;)
Well, I get the plastic sticker-lick nail art and it works fine for me. Maybe you are using the fuzzy kind?
